Once again I’m peeping into places I’m not supposed to… A warehouse somewhere in Jurong. Picture taken with Fujifilm X-T1 and the XF 35mm f/1.4R

Looks better than it really is.
Rurality
I really like taking black and white photos. Some people think black and white photography is hard. To me, it’s pretty therapeutic. It’s a first time for me to deliberately shoot a non-landscape shot at ƒ/10. It came out pretty alright. Looks like I’ll be experimenting more with smaller apertures.
New Holland Tractor
Surprising find along Jurong West Street 22. I was location scouting around that secluded area when I chanced upon a tractor.
Choices

Bamboos are a hard subject to cover, especially so in paintings.
Larger than life… Larger than the average rat in Jurong.
Contemplation III
Just thinking…
Stone Lion II
This time, a guardian lion statue in marble. It’s quite washed out by the weather.
Stone Lion
It’s an ancient belief among the Chinese that having a pair of stone lions outside of temples, government buildings and palaces will bring protection and good luck to the buildings. This stone lion here depicts a female lion, clutching a ball under it’s right paw which symbolizes the circle of life.
Insignia Sinica
34 years ago, Jurong Town Council wanted to recreate the Summer Palace of China at Jurong Lake. But only if they had paid more attention to the “small” architectural details (i.e. beams, signs)…
The tallest pagoda at Chinese Garden was modeled after the Linggu Pagoda in Nanjing, China. Sometimes I wonder, what motivated the sinicization craze of the 70s-80s in Singapore…
